Summer Memories

Ryan, Anna, Nathan (VT students) and I take a hike up McAfee's Knob. It's an incredible view. You can see all of Roanoke, VA and its surrounding mountains.



My roommate, Rob Howe, and I snap a shot in front of the big world map in our house. Rob is gearing up for the arrival of international students from all over the world.



On the beaches at Clearwater, FL during vacation in July, watching Hurricane Dennis go by was a lot of fun. Don't let the shades fool you. It's the first time I got sun in 4 years.



To send a message that the gospel transcends rivalry, Rob and I made a quick trip to Charlottesville, VA to help Derrick and Sue Mondeau, the IV Staff at UVA, move into their new house. I had to take a picture while Derrick was wearing his headlamp. Though I love the annual competition of state bragging rights on the football field with UVA, the Mondeaus have become great friends and encouragers.
